Information you provide

You can use Knoggin without an account. If you choose Sign in with Apple, we receive an account identifier and may receive your name and email address according to the sharing choices you make with Apple. We use this information to provide and maintain your account.

If you send feedback, we receive the message, related app context, and your account email when you are signed in. We use feedback to respond to you, diagnose issues, and improve Knoggin.

If you enable reminders, an app-specific notification token may be created by Apple and Expo so notifications can function. Knoggin currently keeps that token on your device and does not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Information stored on your device

Learning progress, quiz history, streaks, preferences, reminder settings, and basic app activity events are stored locally on your device. This local information is used to operate the app and personalise your experience. It is not sold or used for advertising.

Services we use

Knoggin uses Apple services for Sign in with Apple, notifications, widgets, and App Store distribution. Knoggin uses Supabase to provide account authentication, deliver current learning content, and store feedback that you choose to submit. Expo supports app notifications. These providers process information under their own privacy and security terms.

How we use and share information

We use information only to provide the app, support users, maintain security, correct content, and improve the experience. We do not sell personal information, use it for cross-app tracking, or share it with advertisers. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users, our rights, or the integrity of the service.

Retention and deletion

Account information is kept while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Feedback may be retained to resolve issues and maintain an accurate support history. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal information from the Knoggin support page. We may retain limited records when legally required.

Children

Knoggin is a general-audience educational app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information can contact us to request deletion.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Knoggin changes. The effective date above will be revised when a new policy takes effect. Material changes will be communicated through the app or this website when appropriate.
